Avani Kiana Gregg was born on November 23, 2002, in Brownsburg, Indiana, USA.She is of Indian, Mongolian, and African-American descent.Her mother, Anisha Gregg, is of Indian descent, and her father, Lewis Gregg, is of Mongolian and African-American heritage.Avani has two sisters, Shanti and Priya; Shanti is also a social media influencer.During her childhood, Avani was a competitive gymnast until a stress fracture in her back in July 2019 forced her to stop.She graduated high school early after taking summer classes.

Her breakout moment came in 2019 when she posted a video transforming herself into a Harley Quinn-style clown, earning her the nickname "Clown Girl."
